A Destination Kansas City Wedding
On April 19, 2024, Emily and Nate got married on a beautiful Spring day in Kansas City, but this was not any regular date they chose. This was a date chosen, as a tribute to Emily's late mother Tammy who passed away 6 years ago to the date. Although her mother could not be at the wedding physically, Emily made sure to have her mother celebrated and featured throughout her venue. In fact, Emily almost wore her mothers exact wedding dress for her wedding but instead decided to have it on display along her step mothers wedding dress and her mother in laws wedding dress. It was the most touching moment I've had the pleasure of witnessing/experiencing at a wedding.
A wedding full of food trucks and kids activities. A wedding that involved Emily's beautiful 8 dogs walking her down the aisle. Unique memories that are to be treasured forever.
When you find your true love, you have to go all in. It was also a surprise to learn that Taylor Swift, Emily's second favorite artist aside from Shania Twain (PS Emily got engaged on stage with her in 2023), released 2 albums! We spent the entire morning jamming out and glamming. It was an evening full of singing and dancing and smiles. I had the pleasure of not only doing Emily's wedding makeup, but several members in her wedding party as well. Per my reviews, I was told the makeup lasted through sweat and tears over 12+ hours which is amazing and doesn't surprise me one bit.
I cannot wait to see all of the travels and memories that Emily and Nate create. Thank you so much for having me and I look forward to our future together!
